Become a vital part of logistics as a Shipping & Transport Specialist on a one-year contract. Manage export shipments and provide support during the shipping process.
In this contract role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and take charge of export shipments for customers and affiliates. Key tasks include handling shipping enquiries, providing necessary documentation, and coordinating with forwarders. Your efforts will streamline shipping operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book shipments with forwarders for various services
- Follow up on booking details and share with Customer Care Front Office
- Check Letters Of Credit and handle document requirements
- Perform shipment planning in SAP for timely documentation
- Archive shipping documents systematically in SAP
Requirements
- Diploma or A-level certification and above
- 1 to 3 years handling export shipments
- Familiarity with LC negotiation and dangerous goods
- Strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail in documentation and processes
