Job Description
Connsci is seeking an SAP ERP Senior Level Consultant to provide functional, technical, and advisory support within a federal SAP environment. This consultant will support SAP ERP system configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and upgrade activities while providing expert guidance to improve system performance and support mission-critical business processes. This role operates within a complex SAP landscape supporting Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Payroll, and General Ledger, with integration to third-party systems and U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing. The consultant will work closely with ERP leadership, functional users, and SAP Basis administrators to ensure continuity, optimization, and effective knowledge transfer. In this role you can expect to:
- Provide senior-level support for SAP ERP system configuration, operation, and ongoing enhancements.
- Assist with SAP integration activities, including third-party software and SAP API integrations.
- Support SAP S/4HANA upgrades, including testing, validation, and coordination with technical teams.
- Troubleshoot SAP ERP system issues and provide resolution support across functional areas.
- Analyze SAP business processes (supply chain, materials management, production planning) and recommend improvements.
- Provide recommendations to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Coordinate with SAP Basis administrators to ensure system stability and administrative coverage.
- Support project management activities, including coordination of functional and technical teams.
- Track project activities and assist with monitoring costs against budgeted efforts.
- Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to junior staff and end users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ERP configurations align with FPI mission requirements.
- Document activities, recommendations, and system changes in accordance with established processes. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting SAP ERP integration, including configuration of third-party software and SAP modules.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting SAP business processes, including supply chain management, materials management, and production planning.
- At least 2 years of experience providing troubleshooting support within SAP ERP environments.
- At least 2 years of experience providing system performance improvement recommendations.
- At least 2 years of experience coordinating functional and technical teams in a project environment.
- At least 2 years of experience providing training and knowledge transfer to staff.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrades (support packs or version updates).
- At least 1 year of experience with U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing and SAP API integration.
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting SAP ERP systems within a federal or highly regulated environment.
- Experience working with third-party SAP integrations and enterprise interfaces.
- Experience supporting system upgrades and evaluating impacts to integrated systems.
- SAP Certified Application Associate (any relevant module).
- SAP S/4HANA certification.
