Key Responsibilities:1.
Vendor
Governance & Performance ManagementEstablish and maintain vendor governance frameworks and operating models.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, including QBRs / MBRs .Track SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics, ensuring compliance and performance.Lead issue escalation, service improvement plans, and corrective actions.2. Contract & Commercial ManagementSupport contract creation, negotiation, renewals, and amendments.Monitor contract compliance and ensure vendors adhere to agreed terms.Work with Procurement and Legal on commercial discussions and risk mitigation.Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities and manage spend transparency.3.
Relationship
ManagementAct as the primary operational contact for vendor interactions.Build strategic relationships with key suppliers to improve collaboration.Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors.4. Risk, Compliance & AuditEnsure vendors meet internal governance, audit, regulatory, and security requirements.Monitor vendor risks (financial, operational, cyber, regulatory).Maintain vendor risk assessments and due‑diligence documentation.Support internal and external audits with vendor‑related evidence and reports.5.
Service
Transition & OnboardingSupport vendor onboarding, including compliance checks, contract setup, and performance frameworks.Collaborate with IT and operations teams on service transition from project to BAU.Ensure vendors are fully integrated into organisational processes.6. Reporting & AnalyticsProduce dashboards and reports on vendor performance, risks, spend, and compliance.Analyse trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities.Present insights to senior leaders and governance forums.7.
Continuous
ImprovementDrive process automation and standardisation within vendor management.Identify ways to enhance service delivery, reduce cost, and improve quality.Benchmark against best practices and introduce improvements.Responsibility of / Expectations from the RoleStrong understanding of vendor governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).Contract management and procurement process knowledge.Performance management, SLA/KPI design, and reporting.Experience with vendor risk assessments and compliance frameworks.Excellent stakeholder management and communication.Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and trends.Ability to manage complex issues and drive decisions across teams.
