Core Responsibilities - Conduct in-depth investigative reporting on U.S. related fields closely tied to the company’s business and strategic layout, including but not limited to industry irregularities, policy implementation effects, market hidden risks, social hot issues and corporate dynamics. - Independently develop information sources, conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders (including industry insiders, experts, government officials, and the public), verify the authenticity and accuracy of information, and sort out logical and rigorous investigative clues and reports. - Track and analyze the development trend of U.S. investigative reporting, comply with U.S. media laws, regulations and professional ethics, ensure that all investigative activities and reports are legal, compliant and objective, and avoid potential legal and reputational risks. - Regularly submit in-depth investigative reports and information summaries, timely feed back key findings and potential risks to relevant teams, and assist in optimizing the company’s information collection system and decision-making basis. Key Requirements - Possess rich experience in U.S. investigative reporting, with a solid professional foundation in journalism, and a deep understanding of U.S. media industry rules, journalistic ethics, legal norms and information collection channels. - Demonstrate strong capabilities in investigative thinking, information mining, interview communication and report writing, with a sharp sensitivity to details, a rigorous attitude and the ability to identify false information. - Fluent in English, capable of proficiently conducting interviews in English, collecting and sorting out English information, and writing professional investigative reports in both Chinese and English (preferred). - Preferred candidates include former or current investigative journalists from U.S. mainstream media, industry media or independent media, reporters with experience in covering U.S. politics, economy, industry or social fields, and professionals with extensive information sources, media connections and investigative experience in the U.S. Work Nature & Remuneration This is a part-time, remote position. You only need to complete investigative tasks and submit reports according to the employer’s information needs and time requirements, and there is no requirement to be on-site at the workplace.
