This is an onsite contract role for a major bank in NYC. There is no negotiation for hybrid or remote work. Please do not apply if you are unable to work onsite in NYC.

Join the Asset Management Private team as a Sustainability & Impact Analyst and take a pivotal role in supporting our Private Equity Investing business. You will collaborate closely with the Global Sustainability & Impact Lead and the entire Sustainability & Impact team to execute our sustainability strategy effectively throughout the deal life cycle and report to both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage sustainability data collection and analysis:
  • Collaborate with the S&I team to ensure quality assurance and control of data received from portfolio companies.
  • Onboard sustainability data tools for client reporting, including GHG calculation.
  • Create analytics dashboards and summarize sustainability data trends for portfolio companies and funds.
  • Work with the data team and vendors to develop new dashboards and analytics.
  • Ensure accurate data representation in regulatory and client reports.
  • Assist with AWM Private Equity Sustainability reporting:
  • Develop content for SFDR, TCFD, and other sustainability reports.
  • Track investments relevant to the Firm's Sustainable Investing target.
  • Partner with internal teams to fulfill client data requests.
  • Produce sustainability case studies and program highlights for client meetings.
  • Prepare information for leadership updates with the S&I team.
  • Support underwriting and deal execution:
  • Conduct due diligence assessments for sustainability and climate impacts.
  • Identify and prioritize sustainability initiatives for post-close implementation.
  • Coordinate sustainability project management and initiative tracking:
  • Engage with deal teams on sustainability action plans and post-close requirements.
  • Assist with GHG emissions tracking and decarbonization planning.
  • Support ongoing sustainability risk monitoring and relevant mitigation efforts.
  • Update sustainability tools and communications materials.
  • Manage external vendor relationships:
  • Oversee vendor deliverables and project progress to scale the Private Equity Sustainability program.
  • Evaluate and propose partnerships with new vendors in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sustainability program management, data management, analysis, or reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in creating professional presentations using PowerPoint and similar applications.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
