We’re Hiring: Structural Design Engineer – Substation

Location: Pune

Duration: Full-time

Are you a passionate Civil/Structural Engineer ready to take on exciting challenges in substation structure and foundation design? Join our dynamic team and contribute to high-impact power projects! ⚡

What You’ll Do

• Design and analyze substation structures and foundations.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.

• Develop Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for substation components — including steel supports, transformers, switches, insulators, and more.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

What You Bring

✅ B.E. in Civil/Structural Engineering

✅ 3+ years of experience in Substation Structure & Foundation Design

✅ Hands-on with STAAD.Pro / RISA 3D / ETABS (or equivalent software)

✅ Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D

✅ Strong analytical and technical writing skills

✅ A collaborative mindset and great communication skills

We are specifically looking for candidates with strong experience in the substation domain, with 3+ years of experience in structural design.

Candidates with hands on experience on:

• AIS Substation design and structural foundations
• Structural analysis using STAAD.Pro / RISA 3D / RISA Foundation / ETABS
• Experience working on US/International projects and familiarity with American codes/standards
• Design experience in AIS/GIS substations
• Preparation of engineering drawings, load calculations, and Material Take-Offs (MTOs)
• Exposure to Oil & Gas / Power / Solar PV projects (structural scope)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D
