We are seeking experienced Solar Plant Technicians with strong technical expertise in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining multi-megawatt solar power plants. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with string inverters and a comprehensive understanding of overall solar plant infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Inverter Maintenance Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-capacity string inverters (experience with brands like solplanet Hitachi Plant Operation maintain DC/AC distribution boxes, SMBs (String Monitoring Boxes), transformers, and switchyard equipment.Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:* Conduct regular preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance of solar modules, structures, and cabling to minimize downtime.Testing & Diagnostics:* Utilize technical tools for cable fault localization, string testing, VOC/Isc measurement, and insulation resistance testing.Qualifications & Skills Required Education:* ITI (Electrician / Wireman) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the O&M of utility-scale ground-mount solar power plants Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar power plant layout, DC/AC cable sizing, grid-tie infrastructure, and string inverter functionalities.
Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and technical layouts Competitive salary based on experience and expertise.
