Job Description

As a Quick Commerce Category Manager at IFC Ventures, your primary focus will be on category manager coordination and platform relationship management across Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart. Your success in this platform-facing role depends on your ability to build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive faster execution with category managers and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for category managers across Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with platform stakeholders
  • Drive homepage placements, campaign participation, category visibility, and rankings
  • Lead margin negotiations, trade discussions, and placement deals
  • Ensure faster execution of listings, approvals, and campaigns through proactive follow-ups
  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities within platform ecosystems

In addition to category manager coordination, you will also be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart. This includes overseeing product listings and catalog optimization, pricing, discounting, and offer structures, as well as inventory coordination and stock planning to ensure high product availability, discoverability, and performance.

Furthermore, you will coordinate closely with platform Ads POCs to plan and execute advertising campaigns, continuously align on optimization opportunities, and optimize campaigns for ROAS, conversion rates, and search visibility and ranking. You will work with Ads teams to iterate creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies and scale high-performing SKUs using platform insights, data analysis, and continuous experimentation.

Your role will also involve driving monthly revenue growth across quick commerce platforms, identifying and scaling high-performing SKUs and categories, executing platform campaigns, seasonal promotions, and pricing and discount strategies while balancing top-line growth with margin efficiency. Additionally, you will track and analyze sales, CTR, conversion rates, ad performance and ROI, search visibility and ranking trends, and generate actionable insights to improve listings, discoverability, campaign performance, and pricing strategies.

You will work closely with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure fast execution and alignment across teams.

  • 25 years of experience in quick commerce, e-commerce, or marketplace
