CANDIDATE SEARCH BRIEF Senior Industrial Engineer — Tissue Paper Converting Line (Haiti)
- POSITION OVERVIEW
Client: Cameo Paper S.A.
Plant location: Port-au-Prince, Haiti (inside the industrial park
Industry: Tissue Paper converting plant
Reports to: Managing Director language: English (French or Spanish a plus)
Start date: As soon as contract is signed
- MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years' hands-on experience in a tissue paper converting plant (non-negotiable).
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Deep operational knowledge of at least one major converting-line OEM — Fabio Perini, Körber Tissue (MTC), Futura, Gambini, A.Celli, PCMC, or Omet or even ICM Turkey
- Proven command of the full line: unwind stand, embossing unit, ply bonder / laminator, perforation, rewinder, tail sealer, log accumulator, log saw, single-roll wrapper, shrink tunnel, bundler, case packer, palletizer.
- Track record leading a shift or full converting floor (50+ operators and technicians).
- Preventive & predictive maintenance planning, spare-parts management, root-cause analysis.
- Willingness to relocate to Haiti with full understanding of the current security context.
- PREFERRED (NOT MANDATORY)
- Prior overseas hardship-posting experience (Africa, Gulf, Latin America).
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / TPM certification.
- French or Spanish language ability.
- Familiarity with tissue quality KPIs (caliper, stretch, softness, MD/CD tensile).
- COMPENSATION PACKAGE (INDICATIVE)
Base salary: $4,000.00 net of income tax
Performance bonus: 2 months bonus tied to target production & plant profitability, waste, KPIs
Housing: Employer-provided secure apartment transport: Employer-provided
Annual leave: If after the 1-year contract there is a mutual decision to renew the contract then a 1 month vacation back to home country will be granted with economy flight paid for by employer.

(ii) one-page summary of tissue-converting experience naming the OEM machinery operated,
(iii) current location & notice period,
(iv) three professional references.
