Jop Title: Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist
Job Location: KINFRA Techno Park, Kakkanchery Near Calicut University
Financial Analysis & Valuation
Build and maintain complex financial models: integrated 3-statement models, LBO, DCF, M&A accretion/dilution, and comparable company analysis.
Conduct sector-specific business valuations and present findings to senior deal team and clients.
Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis for transaction structuring.
Lead financial due diligence workstreams: quality of earnings, working capital normalisation, and debt/cash analysis.
Coordinate commercial and operational due diligence with target management and advisors.
Liaise with legal, tax, and technical due diligence advisors to consolidate findings.
M&A Transaction Support
Assist in preparation of transaction documents: term sheets, LOIs, SPA financial schedules, and earn-out structures.
Support buy-side and sell-side process management: data room organisation, buyer outreach tracking, management presentation preparation.
Conduct market research, sector analysis, and target identification for M&A mandates.
Prepare pitch books and deal teasers for new business development.
Allocate, review, and quality-check work produced by Analysts and Associates.
Provide on-the-job coaching and technical mentoring to junior team members.
Escalate deal issues to the Operations Manager with clear problem framing and proposed solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
~ MBA (Finance) or CA / CFA Level II or above.
~4–7 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or PE/VC.
~ Minimum 3–4 closed deal experiences in M&A, PE investment, or capital markets.
~ Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and data room tools.
~ Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
