Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate IOP Counselor to join our growing behavioral health team. This position is responsible for facilitating Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group counseling sessions, conducting individual counseling sessions, updating treatment plans, and completing ASAM assessments when clinically appropriate.

This role offers a flexible treatment environment with opportunities to facilitate both in-person and virtual (Zoom) group sessions.

Duties

• Facilitate structured IOP group counseling sessions
• Conduct individual one-on-one counseling sessions with clients
• Complete and update individualized treatment plans in compliance with Maryland COMAR standards
• Conduct ASAM assessments and level of care recommendations as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Monitor client progress and participation in treatment
• Collaborate with the clinical team regarding client care and discharge planning
• Assist clients with relapse prevention planning and recovery goal development
• Ensure all documentation meets agency, Medicaid, and accreditation standards

Qualifications

• ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C, or other applicable Maryland behavioral health credential preferred
• Experience facilitating substance abuse or mental health groups preferred
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and treatment planning
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with telehealth/Zoom counseling preferred

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
