Job Description

About the Role The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, payroll coordination, and HR operations. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle for all levels

Develop hiring strategies to attract skilled workforce

Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning

Ensure timely closure of positions

Employee Engagement & Relations

Foster a positive and productive work environment

Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions

Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies

HR Operations

Oversee onboarding and induction processes

Maintain employee records and HR documentation

Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations

Performance Management

Implement performance appraisal systems

Monitor employee performance and development plans

Support managers in goal setting and evaluations

Payroll & Compensation

Coordinate payroll processing with accuracy

Manage compensation, benefits, and statutory deductions

Ensure salary benchmarking and internal equity

Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.)

Maintain statutory records and handle audits

Liaise with government authorities when required

Training & Development

Identify training needs and organize programs

Develop skill enhancement initiatives for employees

HR Strategy & Policy Implementation

Develop and implement HR policies aligned with business goals

Support leadership in organizational development initiatives

Qualifications

MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Any additional certification in labor laws or HR practices is an added advantage

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience in manufacturing industry preferred

Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks
