The Event Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of university events including academic, cultural, corporate, and student engagement activities. The role ensures seamless coordination, high-quality delivery, and alignment with the university's brand and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute university events such as seminars, conferences, fests, workshops, convocation, and guest lectures.
Develop event concepts, themes, and budgets in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Liaise with faculty, student bodies, vendors, sponsors, and external partners.
Manage event logistics including venue booking, catering, transportation, audio-visual setup, and décor.
Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Ensure compliance with university policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
Promote events through digital platforms, social media, and internal communication channels.
Monitor event timelines and ensure smooth on-ground execution.
Handle troubleshooting during events and ensure quick resolution of issues.
Evaluate event success through feedback and prepare post-event reports.
