Job Title: Assistant Store Manager –Packaging Material Specialist Location: Manda, Sikar,Rajasthan / Bikaner, Rajasthan

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager with experience in dairy manufacturing and strong expertise in packaging materials. The role involves supporting store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining seamless availability of packaging materials to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations Support

Assist in managing day-to-day store activities including receipt, storage, and issuance of raw and packaging materials.

Ensure proper storage conditions for dairy-related materials and packaging items.

• Packaging Material Handling

Monitor stock levels of packaging materials such as pouches, bottles, cartons, caps, labels, and laminates.

Support quality checks and ensure packaging materials meet required standards.

Track material consumption and report variances.

• Inventory Control

Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems.

Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for inventory management.

Assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliation.

• Coordination

Coordinate with production and procurement teams for timely availability of materials.

Support vendor follow-ups for packaging material deliveries.

• Documentation & Compliance

Ensure proper documentation (GRN, issue slips, stock registers).

Support compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and company policies.

• Team Support

Assist in supervising store staff and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Help in training staff on handling and storage practices.

• Cost & Waste Monitoring

Help identify excess consumption and wastage of packaging materials.

Support initiatives for cost control and inventory optimization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

~ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Dairy Technology, or related field.

~8–10 years of experience in store or warehouse operations in dairy/FMCG industry.

~ Hands-on experience in managing packaging materials is mandatory.

~ Knowledge of dairy packaging materials and storage practices.

~ Basic proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).

~ Understanding of food safety standards.

~ Good coordination and organizational skills.

~ Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
