Job Description
1. Job PURPOSE:
To drive the expansion of distributor and channel networks for The Concrete Shop®, a design-led concrete brand by Aarya Precast India Pvt. Ltd., by identifying, approaching, and onboarding high-potential business partners. The role focuses on building a robust indirect sales ecosystem through effective market mapping, business opportunity pitching, and partner acquisition, while ensuring smooth onboarding and initial handholding to enable long-term partner success, consistent revenue generation, and strengthened market presence.
2. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Distributor Acquisition & Market Hunting
- Identify and target potential distributors, dealers, and business partners in assigned territories
- Conduct cold visits, market research, and lead generation activities
- Pitch The Concrete Shop® business model and partnership opportunity
- Convert prospects into active distributors.
B. Business Opportunity Pitching
- Present brand value, product portfolio, and profitability potential to prospects
- Explain investment, margins, and business scalability to potential partners
- Customize pitches based on market, partner profile, and location potential
- Handle initial negotiations and onboarding discussions
C. Channel Network Expansion
- Develop and execute territory-wise expansion plans.
- Ensure strong market penetration through continuous partner onboarding.
- Identify gaps in distribution and proactively fill them.
- Build a strong pipeline of potential channel partners.
D. Onboarding & Initial Handholding
- Support new distributors during onboarding and initial setup
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth launch and first orders
- Ensure clarity on processes, pricing, and operations
- Enable quick activation of newly acquired partners.
E. Coordination & Conversion Support
- Work closely with internal teams for proposals, pricing, and approvals
- Ensure timely follow-ups with prospects to close deals
- Maintain a strong conversion ratio from leads to active partners
Track and manage the entire acquisition funnel
- F. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain records of leads, meetings, and conversions
- Track territory performance and expansion progress
- Share market insights, competitor activities, and partner feedback
- Achieve monthly / quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
3. KRA & KPI
- Number of distributors / dealers onboarded
- Conversion ratio (leads to partners)
- Territory expansion and market coverage
- Revenue generated through new channel partners
- Speed of partner activation
- Pipeline strength and consistency
4. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB
Education
- Graduate / Diploma (Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field preferred — candidates with architectural background will be given preference)
Experience
- Junior Level: 0–2 years (field sales / business development / direct sales)
- Senior Level: 3–7 years (channel expansion / distributor acquisition experience preferred)
5. COMMUNICATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Sales, Marketing, Design, Production, and Management teams.
External: Prospective distributors, dealers, franchise holders, business owners
