About Us

Complete Distribution Services Ltd (formerly PA Fine Foods) is a direct to store distributor servicing the Canadian Prairies, & the Far North with Multi Temperature Distribution Services. We are an independently owned and operated company that was established in 1985.

The Role

The Accounting Administrator (AP/AR/Support) supports day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This role focuses primarily on accounts payable while assisting with accounts receivable, order processing, and general financial support activities. This is a fully onsite, office-based position and requires consistent physical presence to effectively support accounting operations, internal teams, and front-office activities.

The Accounting Administrator works closely with the Director of Finance and the Office Manager, and plays an integral role in maintaining timely, accurate financial processing while providing in-person support to staff, customers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-office support, including assisting walk-in customers, vendors, delivery personnel, and other visitors
  • Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, approvals, and payment runs
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment application
  • Assist with order desk and sales administration, including system entry and coordination
  • Use internal systems to support billing, reporting, and data accuracy
  • Assist with payroll processing and related administration (as required)
  • Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Maintain and organize the physical filing system in the office, ensuring financial and administrative records are properly filed and easily retrievable
  • Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Corporate Services team
  • Maintain an organized and professional office environment and support daily office operations as needed

Knowledge and Skills

  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and basic accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes
  • Comfortable working with accounting, and payroll systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Director of Finance, Office Manager, and the broader team

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable
  • Experience with accounting software and payroll systems considered an asset
  • Payroll and month-end experience considered an asset

Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
