We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Part-time Class 4 Bus Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting primarily senior passengers, while providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 4 bus for two seniors homes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport passengers, including children, seniors, or community members, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous customer service at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the bus before and after shifts
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, passengers, and team members using clear written and verbal communication skills
- Follow all safety protocols and report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly
- Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during shifts
- Scheduling scenic trips and outings
- Prior experience working with seniors, or in customer service roles is an asset.
- Class 4 driving experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and team members
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle operation is a plus for basic troubleshooting or maintenance awareness.
- Writing skills are helpful for completing reports or documentation related to daily operations
