Your responsibilities in this position will be to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering our unique-tasting products securely and on time. On your daily route, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering items from the storage area designated by retail partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and collecting any products set aside for return to the sales center. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work for a stable, growing organization with a local distribution pattern.
Responsibilities include:
- Strict adherence to all safety procedures is necessary while driving to and from the Sales Center and visiting customers on the way throughout the day.
- Prioritize the safety and efficiency of all store deliveries, keeping in mind the objective of resupplying customer inventories.
- Collaborate with the warehouse/backroom manager to verify the quantity of inventory that has been delivered to the store and ensure it matches the invoiced amount.
- Establish the conformity of the truck inventory with the load-out report.
- Creates a setup of back rooms or stock areas within the assigned storage area to ensure safe and comfortable access.
- Take and bring back pallets, shells, and designated items during each delivery stop.
Requirements
- Only individuals who have reached the age of 21 can participate
- To perform the job, it is essential to have a Class A CDL license that is valid
- To adhere to Swires' vehicle policy, your driving record must meet specific regulations
- Willingness to work during weekends, nights and public holidays as needed, to ensure optimal productivity and service delivery
- Demonstrating the ability to hoist objects up to 50 pounds in weight
