Aggregate General Manager | Maryland
I'm partnering with a well-established and growing construction materials business to find a hands-on, high-impact Senior Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of sand & gravel operations across Maryland.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving production performance, improving operational efficiency, and leading multiple site teams across active aggregate operations. The position requires a strong field presence and someone who can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing operations across 6 raw material sites.
- Driving production planning and execution to meet tonnage targets.
- Leading and developing site teams across multiple locations.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce downtime.
- Optimising equipment utilisation and maintenance practices.
- Managing water systems across dredge mining and wash plant operations.
- Monitoring operational performance metrics and driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align operational goals with business objectives.
