Job Description

Must Have:

10+ years experience with Azure Cloud and Oracle Database 19c and technologies including, Data Guard, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Oracle Wallet, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) on RedHat Linux platform

Working knowledge of new features such as Oracle Multitenant option, Oracle Active Data Guard Far Sync, in-memory database, information lifecycle management enhancements, and new data types

Experience with tuning all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL

Technical Skills and Experience

2+ years of experience with Oracle Golden Gate

Working knowledge of new features such as Oracle Multitenant option, Oracle Active Data Guard Far Sync, in-memory database, information lifecycle management enhancements, and new data types

Experience with Oracle database upgrade and migration

Experience with install, patch, and maintenance of all Oracle software

Experience with tuning all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL

Experience with installing and testing new versions of the RBMS and maintaining data standards while adhering to the Data Protection Act

Problem-Solving Skills

5+ years experience with troubleshooting, problem solving, performance tuning, and hardware and system software infrastructure architecture design

Proficient in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions

Project Management Skills

2+ years experience with project planning and execution

Soft Skills

Ability to communicate regularly with technical, application, and operational teams

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
