Medical Coder

• Review patient medical records, reports, and physician notes
• Assign appropriate codes using ICD (International Classification of Diseases), CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), and HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System)
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Verify documentation for completeness and clarity
• Work closely with billing teams to process claims
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Stay updated with coding guidelines and healthcare regulations
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
