Software Tester (Automation Tester)

Role Overview:

As a part of our global law firm, your role will involve overseeing the testing of applications developed by custom or no/low code. You will be responsible for end-to-end processes and metrics for software testing, including the implementation of integration and other levels of testing. Collaboration with project managers and software developers will be crucial in establishing reporting metrics, test scenarios, and efficiencies through manual testing to achieve quality objectives.

• Analyze requirements from a testing perspective, work closely with scrum master and product owner to identify risk areas, perform in-depth regression testing, create test plans, manage defects, prepare detailed test reports, design and execute test cases for Gen AI-driven features, utilize Gen AI tools for automation

Qualification Required:

• Ability to independently create test data as per requirements
• Experience in writing complex queries in SQL and database testing
• Excellent client communication skills
• Hands-on experience in Testing Automation, preferably using Selenium
• Previous experience testing Microsoft applications and Gen AI based applications
• UI testing experience to ensure consistency, usability, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers
• Knowledge of JMeter is an added advantage
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools like Azure Devops, JIRA
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment, SAFe principles, and software development using SAFe Agile methodologies is beneficial
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and testing applications for accessibility compliance
• Proficiency in using Gen AI tools for automation
• ISTQB or ISEB certification foundation level is preferred
• Good understanding of Rally or similar test management tool
• Bachelor's in Engineering Degree or equivalent with 5+ years of professional testing experience
