DevOps Engineer – Mission Systems (TS/SCI + FSP) Jobs

Seeking a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical systems for NSA programs. Work involves automation, CI/CD, containerization, and managing secure Linux-based environments supporting high-impact intelligence missions.

Responsibilities

Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure mission development workflows.

Deploy, manage, and optimize applications across Linux-based distributed environments.

Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) for repeatable, automated infrastructure provisioning.

Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline configuration, deployment, and maintenance tasks.

Support and manage containerized applications using Docker or Podman.

Work with Kubernetes or OpenShift to orchestrate containerized workloads.

Monitor systems using ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools to ensure reliability and performance.

Troubleshoot system, deployment, and automation issues in secure mission environments.

Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, and mission teams on deployments and system improvements.

Ensure operational environments remain secure, compliant, and aligned with mission requirements.

Create and update technical documentation for tooling, pipelines, and system processes.

Clearance Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) — required for consideration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in DevOps, automation engineering, or systems engineering.
• Required Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Git for version control
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Containers: Docker or Podman
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Scripting: Python or Bash
• Monitoring/Logging: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degrees:
