Position Overview and Responsibilities

Clear is looking to add a Qualified Aquatic Environmental Specialist ("QAES") to our team. The position is primarily office-based, with field-based support at various project locations throughout Western Canada.

Primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and execute field services, including: Aquatic and Wildlife Assessments, Waterbody and Wetland Assessments, Water Resource Management, Environmental Site Assessments, Environmental Monitoring, etc.

Qualification Requirements

• Post-secondary education degree or technical diploma in biological sciences, or other educational equivalencies
• Qualified Aquatic Environmental Specialist ("QAES") designation
• Previous experience with Aquatic and Wildlife Assessments
• Candidates must have a valid Drivers Licence and safety/competency certifications, including: Standard First Aid, CPR, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation ("CSO")
• Strong organizational capability and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
• Willing to work away from home, and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Contractor(s) will require their own truck, insurances, and Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE")
