Classroom2Community (C2C) is seeking a highly organized, people-centered Program & Operations Coordinator to support adult learners as they enter and progress through our academic and workforce training programs.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days look the same. You’ll work directly with students, support instructors, manage key program data, and help keep our Rockville training site running smoothly.

Support Students from Day One

• Conduct intake calls and help new students get started
• Communicate with students via phone, text, email, and chat
• Provide basic computer skills support for new learners
• Track attendance and follow up with students who need support
• Help students stay on track—or step in when they’re falling behind

Academic Programs Support

• Track student progress, assessments, and certification outcomes
• Maintain accurate data in Airtable, Google Sheets, and internal systems
• Distribute certification exam vouchers and track results
• Support instructors by flagging student trends and issues
• Help coordinate study groups and student support

Operations (Rockville Office)

• Help manage day-to-day operations at our training site
• Oversee student device loaner program
• Assist with scheduling and on-site logistics
• Learn and support basic audio-visual (AV) setup (cameras, lighting, mics) for our creative space rentals
• Occasional Saturday shifts as needed
• No AV experience required—we’ll train you. Interest and willingness to learn is key.

Connector Across Organization

• Work closely with program staff to support student success
• Help identify students who need additional support or intervention
• Make referrals to partner organizations when appropriate
• Contribute to a team culture focused on impact and continuous improvement
• You’re early in your career or a career changer and want to grow into program management or operations
• You’re organized, responsive, and good with people
• You can juggle multiple tasks without dropping details
• You care about helping adults succeed in their careers

Required

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
• Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience with spreadsheets
• Bilingual (Spanish, Amharic, French, etc.)
• Experience in education, workforce development, or community programs
• Interest in media, content creation, or AV equipment

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
