Job Summary
Provides administrative oversight of fire records and data analysis to ensure operational readiness, support emergency response, and enhance efficiency. Serves as the department’s lead for business systems and data, in conjunction with the Information Technology Department and vendors, to maintain and improve system performance and reliability. Work is performed independently under the general direction of a Deputy Chief and is evaluated based on operational impact, performance outcomes, and overall effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and three (3) years of experience supporting fire-specific applications, or working in a public safety or in a fire service environment, including two (2) years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.
Master's degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 are preferred.
