Staff Nurse (ICU) (Hyderabad)

The Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse / Nurse / Trainee include the following:

• Take detail patient handover.

\n

• Assess the Assigned Patient

\n

• Assess the needs of patient and give care according to priority.

\n

• Carry out all bedside nursing activities and document appropriately in billing chart and computer.

\n

• Carry out Doctors order.

\n

• Admission & Discharge Process

\n

• Pharmacy Indents.

\n

• Referrals

\n

• Lab Investigations, Procedures, Medical Equipments, Doctors Visits etc.

\n

• Maintain daily investigation chart.

\n

• Patient bedside medicines & double sighting of the drug chart.

\n

• Maintain crash trolley & stock inventory

\n

• Any delay or problem regarding patient care or procedure that should be inform to ward In charge.

\n

• Any adverse events occur in your ward that should be notified to ward in charge.

\n

• In busy environment seek help from colleagues or in charge

\n

• Be aware about aseptic technique & strictly follow.

\n

• Be aware about all procedures

\n

\n

ICU Management

\n

\n

• Hand over and takes over the patient and ward equipment and supply.

\n

• Keep the ward neat and tidy. Follow hospital infection control policies and Hospitals waste disposal policy.

\n

• Maintain safety of the ward equipment.

\n

• Prepare and checks ward supplies.

\n

• Assist Ward Supervisor / Sister incharge ward and officiates in her absence.

\n

\n

· Assists in taking inventories

\n

\n

• Supervise other Junior Nursing personnel working with her / him.

\n

• Maintain records and reports assigned to her / him by the sister In-charge.

\n

• In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by the immediate superior or Management.
