FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE — Full-Time | Circle Hotel & Hotel HiHo | Fairfield County, CT

Shifts Available: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm (weekends included)

We own and operate two of Fairfield County's standout boutique properties — Circle Hotel and Hotel HiHo — and we've poured real thought, creativity, and investment into making them places people love to stay. Our management style pairs institutional-level operational discipline with a very human, very hands-on approach. It's a balance, and it works.

So, what's the job?

As a Front Desk Associate, you're the first face guests see and the last impression they carry out the door. That's a big deal, and we take it seriously while still having fun doing it.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

• Welcoming and checking in guests (warmly, always)
• Managing reservations, room assignments, and dynamic pricing adjustments
• Fielding guest questions about the hotel, the local area, and everything in between
• Handling check-outs, processing payments, and balancing the cash drawer
• Fielding calls, handling special requests, and keeping the front desk running like clockwork
• Logging anything unusual and looping in management when needed
• Staying sharp on the latest tech tools we're rolling out — self-service kiosks, property management software, and more

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of hotel or hospitality experience (more is always a plus)
• A natural people person who genuinely enjoys helping guests — not just tolerates it
• Strong communication skills, serious organizational instincts, and the ability to juggle multiple things at once without losing your cool
• Comfort with — or better yet, excitement about — new technology
• Someone who can work independently but thrives as part of a team
• Candidate needs to have availability for 7am-3pm, 3pm–11pm shifts and weekends (this part is non-negotiable)

Where can this take you?

We promote from within. Seriously. Front Desk Associate → Front Desk Supervisor → Assistant General Manager → General Manager. It's a real path, and we've seen people walk it.
