Bartender

Expectations/Responsibilities

• If there are no servers or hosts on the floor, be responsible for greeting and seating guests by welcoming guests to the restaurant, escorting them to their tables, and providing menus.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Responsible for inventory of bar items and alcohol
• Complete all bar side duties assigned and checklist every shift
• Taking orders by listening to guests' preferences, providing recommendations if requested, and accurately recording food and beverage orders. Inform manager on floor of any severe allergies.
• Serving food and drinks and ensuring timely delivery of orders from the kitchen to guests' tables, maintaining presentation and quality standards. Running food accurately to tables.
• Maintaining cleanliness by clearing tables of dishes and utensils after guests finish their meals, reset tables efficiently, and ensure cleanliness in your assigned section.
• Strong knowledge of Chiang Mai’s menu and specials. Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, and be able to explain specials or promotions. • Work as a team on the floor. Collaborate with managers, bartenders, hosts, and other servers to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience for guests.
• Handle guest requests by fulfilling special requests or dietary accommodations to the best of your ability, communicating any specific needs to the manager on floor.
• Understand and adhere to restaurant policies regarding service, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in closing procedures such as cleaning and organizing your section, restocking supplies, and preparing for the next shift, sweeping and mopping and closing cashout

Requirements/Skills

• Smart serve certification
• Bartender skills and knowledge of basic drinks
• Snappy POS knowledge is a plus
• Proficient in English
• Some knowledge of Thai food is a plus

Effective communication, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a friendly attitude are crucial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
