Our front staff are our patients first impression when they visit our office. We are looking for a new receptionist to join our team as we are expanding to a fulltime second optometrist in the office

The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be able to multitask. The right candidate will be friendly, professional, reliable, have a positive attitude, be well groomed and be able to work in a team environment.

Daily responsibilities include;

Greeting patients, checking answering machine messages, answering the phone (scheduling/ re-booking appointments), direct billing to insurance companies/ taking payments, preliminary screening, scanning files, ordering contact lenses and maintaining an overall clean and organized working environment. Further responsibilites may be added as time goes on and depending on the candidates attributes.

Experience in an Optical or Medical office is an asset but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Bilingualism is and asset but not required

The selected candidate must be able to work 1 evening a week until 7:30-8:00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.50 per hour
