Job Description
As a detail-oriented and experienced Global Payroll Specialist, your role will involve managing payroll operations across Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, USA, India, and Australia. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while collaborating closely with HR, Finance, external payroll vendors, and local stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries including salary, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness by reviewing inputs, validating reports, and reconciling registers.
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements in all supported countries.
- Oversee timely filing and payment of payroll taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory remittances.
- Collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure service accuracy and escalate and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Perform payroll-related reconciliations and support monthly and year-end activities, providing analytics and reports to Finance and leadership.
- Maintain internal payroll controls, identify process improvement opportunities, and ensure data integrity between systems.
Qualifications Required:
- 48 years of hands-on payroll experience with multi-country exposure.
- Strong knowledge of income tax regulations, social security contributions, statutory leave payments, pension schemes, and benefits taxation.
- Experience working with global payroll vendors, proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management skills, and attention to detail.
In addition to the above, the company prefers candidates with a Bachelor of Commerce / MBA - Finance, experience in a high-growth, multinational SaaS or tech organization, knowledge of SOX controls and audit requirements, and experience with HRIS platforms like Workday.
