Electrical Maintenance/Utility – Assistant Manager/Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance professional responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement of CNC machines and plant utilities. The role involves minimizing downtime through effective maintenance planning, MTTR/MTBF monitoring, PLC programming expertise, and ERP-based maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Electrical Maintenance

• Electrical maintenance of:
• CNC Machines
• VMC (Vertical Machining Centers)
• HMC (Horizontal Machining Centers)
• Hobbing Machines
• Plano Miller Machines
• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical faults and restore machines with minimum downtime.
• Maintain drives, motors, panels, CNC controls, and electrical systems.

2. PLC & Automation

• PLC troubleshooting, programming, and modification.
• Work on automation systems, sensors, and control circuits.
• Maintain PLC backups and electrical documentation.
• Coordinate with OEMs for complex issues and upgrades.

3. Utility Maintenance

• Maintenance of plant utilities such as:
• Air Compressors
• DG Sets
• Transformers & HT/LT Panels
• Electrical Distribution Systems
• Shop-floor electrical infrastructure

4. Maintenance Planning & Reliability

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and improve:
• MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
• MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
• Conduct root cause analysis for repetitive breakdowns.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance machine availability.
• Maintain spare parts planning and inventory control.

5. ERP & Documentation

• Must have working knowledge of ERP systems for:
• Maintenance scheduling
• Breakdown logging
• Spare parts management
• Work order tracking
• Maintenance reporting & analytics
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.
• Follow LOTO and safe work practices.
• Support internal and external audits.

7. Team Management

• Supervise electrical maintenance technicians.
• Allocate daily maintenance activities.
• Train team on troubleshooting and safety practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC machine electrical systems.
• Hands-on PLC programming & troubleshooting.
• Understanding of MTTR, MTBF, and maintenance KPIs.
• ERP-based maintenance management experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
