We are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer with strong automation and infrastructure-as-code experience to support enterprise Linux environments. This role will focus on the design, deployment, automation, and ongoing maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, while helping modernize infrastructure through automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

The ideal candidate is experienced in Linux administration, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure, and enjoys working in collaborative environments supporting multiple technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across enterprise environments.
• Develop and manage automation solutions using Ansible, including writing and distributing content through Ansible Galaxy.
• Provision infrastructure and automate server deployments using Terraform.
• Administer and support Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or AWX for enterprise automation.
• Troubleshoot Linux system issues and restore systems to operational status when failures occur.
• Support authentication and access management using Centrify and Kerberos.
• Manage and support Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
• Assist with the deployment and management of infrastructure in AWS environments, including EC2 and S3.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines supporting server lifecycle management across bare-metal, virtual, and cloud platforms.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support operational continuity.

Required Qualifications

• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and server automation.
• Experience administering Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or AWX.
• Ability to troubleshoot Linux system failures and restore services quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects in a team environment.
• US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines for server lifecycle management.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly EC2 and S3.
• Experience with Splunk infrastructure administration.
• Familiarity with Centrify and Kerberos authentication systems.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and multi-task in fast-paced environments.
