Position: Systems Engineer Lead Storage

Location: Washinton DC, Virginia, Maryland (Onsite)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.

Task Area(s): IT Infrastructure Operations and Management

Note: Security Clearance: TS/SCI

Certification (Preferred):

• NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) ONTAP
• Cohesity Certified Administrator or Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
• Any DoD 8570 certifications

Experience, Expertise:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise storage solutions in classified or federal data center environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with NetApp ONTAP storage platforms including SAN/NAS architecture, SnapVault, SnapMirror, and FAS/AFF series administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cohesity backup and data management platforms including periodic restores, backup software currency, and job health monitoring.
• Proficiency in storage performance optimization, capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management, and storage fault troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining storage documentation including logical/physical diagrams and change control.
• Familiarity with storage security hardening and FISMA requirements.
