Marketing & Content Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Content Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong marketing knowledge with an eye for design and a passion for creating engaging content across multiple platforms.

The Marketing & Content Specialist will support a variety of marketing initiatives, including social media management, presentation development, podcast promotion, content creation, and brand management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content across multiple social media platforms
• Design engaging graphics, presentations, and marketing materials that align with brand standards
• Develop and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, and track performance metrics
• Assist with podcast production, promotion, content repurposing, and distribution
• Build professional PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations for leadership, events, and organizational initiatives
• Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and other channels
• Manage multiple marketing projects while maintaining brand consistency
• Write compelling marketing copy for social media, websites, presentations, emails, and promotional materials
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute creative marketing initiatives
• Maintain content calendars and ensure timely completion of marketing projects
• Stay current on marketing trends, social media best practices, and emerging digital tools
• Assist with website updates, event promotion, video content, and other marketing projects as needed
• Support internal communications and organizational branding efforts

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field
• 2+ years of marketing experience preferred
• Strong creative abilities and an excellent eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
• Experience managing social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others
• Proficiency with Canva and presentation design tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience creating presentations for executive and leadership audiences
• Knowledge of podcast production and content marketing
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools
• Basic video editing skills
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools
