What this role is

You own commercial insurance at CavaIt. General liability, professional liability, commercial property, commercial auto, business interruption you know this space and you know how to find the right coverage for a business that's still figuring itself out. Our customers are young, they're building things, and most commercial brokers don't speak their language. You will.

This is a build-from-scratch role. There's no commercial lines playbook here yet you're writing it. If that sounds like a lot of work, it is. If that sounds like an opportunity, you're the right person.

What you'll do

• Advise business customers on commercial coverage general liability, professional liability, commercial property, commercial auto, and business interruption
• Assess business risk accurately understand what a business actually does, what could go wrong, and what coverage they actually need
• Place and bind commercial policies through our carrier and brokerage partners, compliantly and efficiently every time
• Own RIBO compliance on the commercial side every transaction is clean, documented, and defensible
• Work with product so the dashboard surfaces commercial gaps intelligently your expertise feeds directly into what Cava, our AI agent, recommends to business customers
• Build the commercial lines playbook from the ground up processes, carrier relationships, submission workflows so we can scale it

Who you are

• You know commercial lines you've assessed real business risk, placed real policies, and you understand the difference between what a policy says and what it actually covers
• You can translate complex commercial products into plain language for a 25-year-old running their first business no jargon, no condescension
• You're a self-starter who builds structure rather than waiting for it the absence of a process is an invitation, not an obstacle
• You take full ownership of the client, the placement, the outcome, and the relationship
• You hold an active licences or you're eligible to register under our brokerage partner and ready to move immediately

Bonus: you've worked with small businesses, startups, freelancers, or the gig economy you understand how their risk looks different from a traditional SME

You're opening up an entirely new revenue stream for the company and serving a customer who's been ignored by every traditional broker in the market. Pay: $37,500.00-$100,000.00 per year
