• *Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting in the pharmacy setting.

• *Duties:**

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the pharmacist and the front-store operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the pharmacist with preparing prescriptions, labeling medications, and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and helping customers locate products.
• Managing inventory, stocking shelves, and organizing store displays.
• Ensuring the pharmacy and front store areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Handling transactions and maintaining accurate cash register operations.
• Following all safety and confidentiality protocols in compliance with regulations.

Here are some key requirements to look for in a good candidate for a pharmacy assistant position:

Educational Background

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a pharmacy assistant certificate or diploma program (optional but preferred).

Skills and Competencies

• Pharmacy-Specific Skills:
• Basic understanding of medications, prescriptions, and pharmacy operations.
• Ability to use pharmacy software and handle prescription processing.
• Customer Service:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail setting is an asset, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
