Schedule: Full Time

Wage: $23.45/hour

Job Description

Join our team to grow into a fresh new career with endless opportunities for development. You will learn about auto insurance, off road vehicles, boats, trailers etc. and help problem solve through various transactions. RCUI will provide all training.

RCU Insurance Services is excited to announce we are looking for energetic, motivated individuals to work as an Insurance Service Representative. This role processes basic insurance transactions and auto policies. The skills and desire to provide excellent service are essential.

Key Areas of Accountability:

• Processes auto and basic insurance transactions under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
• Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk.
• Implements client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Revelstoke Credit Union products.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma
• 0 – 3 years experience with customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated commitment to applying relevant and applicable policies, procedures in the day-to-day performance of the functions of this position
• Customer service orientation, driven to help customers meet needs or resolve problems
• Team player, driven to ensure that the whole team is successful in meeting customer needs
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development and ability to learn new skills and adapt to change
