Job Summary
Busy pediatric dentistry office looking for a fun person to join our team as a dental assistant.
Our schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 5pm, and Tuesday 12pm to 5pm
Experience is appreciated, but we can train on the job as well.

As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting pediatric dentists in providing dental care to children. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during dental procedures to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for young patients.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and treatments
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
- Take dental X-rays
- Manage patient records using Open Dental electronic health record systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following aseptic techniques
Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and pediatric dentistry practices
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Strong assisting skills to support pediatric dentists during procedures
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique standards for infection control
