The Associate, Training & Internal Communications will work closely with the ADESA and Wholesale teams and will be responsible for developing and conducting employee training programs for the organization. You will create and deliver high-quality, impactful training and educational materials to employees. Additionally, you will design and execute best-in-class change management programs; often designing multiple programs at a time. The ideal candidate must be prepared to serve as an ambassador for the Internal Communication & Training Team, and create a high-performing culture through impactful training programs and educational materials. In this position, you will design, develop, administer, and evaluate training programs in connection with long-term company goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Assess and design learning programs based on learning and behavior change gaps.
- Partner with Leadership and team members to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training.
- Create and develop change plans on policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies and assist in the execution of change plans.
- Develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, eLearning's, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference workshops.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging learning technologies to enhance content creation, personalize learning experiences, and scale program delivery.
- Develop and deliver internal communications for new initiatives, pilots, and product launches—translating complex concepts into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate messaging that drives understanding and adoption.
- Participate in regular check-ins with project team members and trainees to measure progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
- Ability to interpret technical data, processes, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Travel to auction sites approximately 10–15% of the time to observe real-world operations, support training delivery, and ensure alignment between learning programs and on-the-ground execution.
- Drive program management.
What you should have
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution is preferred.
- 1-3 years of training, adult learning, or other relevant experience; level will be determined based on experience.
- Experience with Google Suite
- Excellent communication, including written, oral, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Flexible, creative, and innovative, with the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment.
- Solid organization, project management, and planning skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all departments and employee levels.
- Strong abilities in, dealing with ambiguity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and being analytical.
- Knowledge of adult learning methodologies, learning management systems, and training delivery platforms.
