About the Position We are seeking an experienced Data Science & Analytics Professional to join our team in a remote capacity. This position offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours, allowing you to balance your career with your lifestyle while contributing to groundbreaking work in the entertainment industry. In this role, you will work alongside software engineers and product managers to ideate, design, and enforce data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, then partner with engineering groups throughout the development lifecycle to build data pipelines and a range of analytics tools, including dashboards, indicators, and automatic reports. What You'll Do Take complete ownership of foundational data models and accelerate productization of data insights, ensuring scalability and reliability across all analytical outputs Design, construct, and maintain information pipelines to acquire, process, and analyze big and complex data sets from various assets, including customer logging events, customer activity, and enterprise applications Collaborate with engineers during the development process to integrate data logging and reporting into product features, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data capture Communicate insights to vast sets of stakeholders across the organization, translating complex data findings into actionable business recommendations Create insightful data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau to assist stakeholders in easily understanding and acting upon data-driven insights Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities Contribute to the development of best practices for data collection, analysis, and visualization across the organization Required Qualifications Experience with Statistical Inference and Machine Learning Demonstrated experience leveraging statistical inference and machine learning models to present actionable insights that drive business decisions Data Modeling Expertise Hands-on experience building intuitive schemas and data models for web-scale datasets, with the ability to handle massive volumes of data efficiently Technical Proficiency High talent in the general data science tech stack, including Python, SQL, and Spark, along with experience using common data visualization tools such as Tableau Communication Skills Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey data insights to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds, from engineers to executives Collaborative Mindset A positive mind-set that welcomes opportunities to offer and receive candid feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Autonomous Work Style Comfortable with ambiguity; able to take ownership and thrive with minimal oversight and process, managing multiple priorities effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience in the streaming media or entertainment industry Familiarity with cloud-based data infrastructure and big data technologies Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experimental design Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics Understanding of product analytics and user behavior analysis Experience working in agile development environments Skills and Competencies Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team Strong organizational and time management skills Curiosity and passion for learning new technologies and methodologies Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning capabilities Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we invest in the growth and development of our team members.
