Job Description
Recruiting on behalf of a growing Ontario plaintiff personal injury firm that is looking to add an experienced litigation lawyer to its team.
If any of these frustrations sound familiar, this role may be worth a look:
- You’re spending too much time on admin and not enough time litigating.
- You want to run your own files, but with better support behind you.
- You’re looking for real mentorship that will help you grow into more complex and catastrophic matters.
- You’re tired of old-school environments that move slowly and wait for the defence to dictate pace.
- You want stronger earning potential without giving up flexibility.
This is a full-carriage plaintiff-side litigation role for a lawyer who wants to own their files, move them proactively, and do strong work with the backing of an experienced team.
What sets this opportunity apart:
- Meaningful mentorship from experienced senior plaintiff litigators.
- Strong support from dedicated paralegal, clerk, and assistant resources.
- Real autonomy over your files without practicing in a silo.
- A proactive litigation environment that values file movement, advocacy, and trial readiness.
- Continuous career growth and expansion into catastrophic and complex cases.
The practice includes MVA, accident benefits, slip and fall, and other serious injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of dedicated Ontario plaintiff personal injury experience, be licensed and in good standing with the LSO, and be comfortable handling files through discoveries, motions, mediations, trials and resolution.
Compensation & benefits:
- Competitive base salary + uncapped % of billings ($250k++)
- Remote, hybrid, or in-office flexibility from anywhere in Ontario
- Unlimited vacation
- Pension matching
