Capitol Document Solutions is seeking an experienced, high-performing Senior Account Executive to help accelerate our continued growth throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) region.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $50,000–$80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $200,000
  • Uncapped commission plan

What You'll Do

  • Develop new business opportunities throughout the DMV region.
  • Prospect consistently through phone, email, networking, referrals, social selling, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct executive-level discovery meetings and business reviews.
  • Identify customer challenges and develop customized technology solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate and close profitable long-term business relationships.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • A proven track record of generating net-new business and consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • Existing relationships and a professional network within the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) business community are highly preferred.
  • Strong prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience selling technology, office technology, Managed IT Services, software, SaaS, telecommunications, cybersecurity, cloud services, or other consultative B2B solutions.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered sales tools (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, conversational AI, or sales enablement platforms) to improve prospecting, pipeline development, and sales performance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with disciplined CRM and pipeline management.
  • A competitive mindset with the drive to build new business and achieve exceptional results.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel throughout the DMV territory.
