Legal Manager- Recovery

As a member of the CapitalNow team, you will be part of India's trusted app-based digital lending platform specializing in personal credit facilities. Leveraging technology and big data analytics, we provide innovative credit products to salaried individuals, offering unsecured loans of up to Rs 1,50,000/- with convenient repayment options, all in a completely digital process.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Analyze and review delinquent loan accounts to determine suitable legal actions.
• Draft and send demand letters and other legal notices to debtors.
• Negotiate repayment plans with debtors and their representatives.
• Prepare and file legal documents for lawsuits, repossessions, and court proceedings.
• Attend court hearings and represent the company in legal matters.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on debt collection laws and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of case-related activities and communications.
• Collaborate with internal departments like collections and operations.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve collection success rates.
• *Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in legal recovery, debt collection, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective negotiation abilities.
