Role Overview : As a Field Support Engineer, you will be the face of our technical support team, providing on-site assistance to our clients in Pune, Mumbai, and Jalgaon. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations. This role involves working closely with end-users, IT managers, and internal support teams to deliver exceptional technical support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Your expertise will directly impact the productivity and efficiency of our clients, contributing to their overall success.Key Responsibilities : - Provide timely and effective on-site technical support to clients, resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals for end-users, ensuring seamless operation of their IT infrastructure.- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) related issues, ensuring optimal performance and stability of client systems.- Perform hardware repairs and replacements, coordinating with vendors for warranty services to maintain the integrity of client hardware assets.- Document all support activities, resolutions, and configurations in a clear and concise manner, contributing to a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference.- Collaborate with internal support teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution, providing a seamless support experience for clients.Required Skillset : - Demonstrated proficiency in desktop support, including hardware and software troubleshooting, OS installation, and network connectivity.- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing user productivity.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and build rapport with clients.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Adaptable to frequent travel within Pune, Mumbai, and Jalgaon, providing on-site support as needed.
