Job Opening: Independent Contractors for Trauma Clinic
Position Overview
We invite skilled psychotherapists, including those fluent in Farsi, Chinese and Filipino/Tagalog, to join our trauma clinic team. Candidates should have a strong background in mental health counseling and a commitment to culturally responsive, client-centered care.
Position
· Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) / EMDR Therapist
· Gottman Couple Therapist
· Farsi, Chinese and Filipino Therapist (specialized in trauma clients)
· Christian Counsellors (DBR, EMDR, or other trauma specializations)
Pay: CA$100.00 - CA$140.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct individual, couple, and group therapy sessions using trauma-informed methods.
· Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
· Provide crisis intervention and emotional support.
· Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
· Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
· Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices.
Qualifications & Eligibility
· Specializations in EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting(DBR), Somatic or Sensorimotor approaches, CBT, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, or Gottman Couple Therapy.
· Experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions, relationships, youth, couples, and families.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
· Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
