CACI is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to provide technical support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) for the electrical maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of industrial-level test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in support of the Test and Evaluation of Department of Defense (DoD) ship systems.
More About the Role
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of basic low voltage electrical systems and electronics components.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades to high voltage electrical system and related peripheral equipment.
- Prepare facilities for tests and assist engineers as directed.
- Operate test facilities and test equipment during the conduct of scale model tests.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and systems by performing preventive maintenance and/or repairs.
- Install conduit, cable, wiring, transformers, circuit breaker panels, sub panels, lighting fixtures and networking equipment.
- Correct deficiencies found during scheduled maintenance of test facilities and respond to emergency breakdowns.

- Journeyman Certification, Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, or trade school diploma
- Able to demonstrate experience performing work on circuits up to 2400VAC.
- Experience with bending and fabrication of electrical tubing.
- Functional ability with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand standard policies and procedures and be able to work and communicate well with oth
