Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager & News Media Executive to manage and grow our digital presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling social media platforms, posting daily news updates, and implementing strategies to increase engagement, reach, and followers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Create, curate, and publish daily news content in a timely and engaging manner
• Stay updated with current trends, breaking news, and viral topics
• Plan and execute content calendars for consistent posting
• Monitor social media performance and optimize strategies for growth
• Increase followers, engagement, and brand visibility across platforms
• Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions professionally
• Collaborate with the design and content teams for creatives and campaigns
• Track analytics and generate performance reports
• Ensure all posts align with brand voice and guidelines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and algorithms
• Ability to identify trending topics and convert them into engaging content
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, news-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
