"Construction Manager" (Civil)

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

o Develop detailed project plans and schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

o Prepare cost schedules using the percentage method for progress tracking.

o Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to align schedules.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

o Prepare and monitor project budgets.

o Track actual expenditure against planned cost percentage and take corrective action where necessary.

o Ensure optimal utilization of resources to avoid cost overruns.

3. Execution & Monitoring

o Ensure day-to-day site activities are progressing as per schedule.

o Push teams and subcontractors to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

o Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress.

4. Team Coordination & Leadership

o Coordinate between workers, site engineers, and subcontractors.

o Address and resolve site-related issues promptly to avoid delays.

o Motivate and guide employees to maintain productivity and safety standards.

5. Quality Assurance & Handover

o Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and safety norms.

o Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of execution.

o Ensure project completion and client handover within agreed timelines.

6. Stakeholder Communication

o Provide regular progress updates to management and clients.

o Highlight risks, delays, or budget concerns with possible solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

• Malappuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience

• Civil engineering: 4 years (Preferred)
