About the job:

As head of operations at Budding Mariners, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions to ensure efficiency, maximize educational effectiveness, and drive business growth. This role requires expertise in operations, time management, data analysis (MS Excel, DBMS), communication (written and spoken English), problem-solving, and content writing, as well as proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational strategy & execution: Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, resource utilization, and overall educational effectiveness.

2. Resource & data management: Manage and optimize resources (budget, facilities, equipment). Utilize data analysis to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and maintain organized records.

3. Communication & collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among faculty, staff, and students. Prepare clear reports and presentations using Google Workspace and MS Office.

4. Content & documentation: Create engaging content for internal and external communications, including policy documents, newsletters, and website updates; maintain well-written documentation.

5. Problem-solving & compliance: Solve operational challenges, ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and meet deadlines through effective time management.

6. Quality & professionalism: Uphold high standards of quality and professionalism, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

7. Talent acquisition and onboarding: Participate in the full hiring process for operational and teaching staff, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
